JR Bitzer specializes in representing tenants and users in the areas of office leasing and acquisitions/dispositions. Recent clients have included several companies such as Flextronics International, Johnson Capital, Boston Market, Leggett & Platt, Solectron, Bombardier/Learjet, Renewable Choice Energy and Diversified Radiology of Colorado. JR has also worked with Exempla Healthcare, the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Axiom Strategies, GE Capital, Kiewit Construction, Colorado Ski Country USA, Spirent Communications, Jabber Inc., Liquid Compass, Pure Energy Services and several regional oil & gas and advertising firms. JR has been successful in developing and executing strategies designed to achieve his client’s operational and financial objectives. Prior to joining Bitzer Real Estate Partners, JR sold equity and municipal bond mutual funds and portfolios for John Nuveen, Inc. in Chicago.
A graduate of the University of Colorado’s School of Business Administration, JR holds a B.S. degree in Marketing. JR is an active participant in the CU Real Estate Council, the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Denver Metro Chamber’s leadership programs and a volunteer with Goodwill Youth Services. JR currently serves on the board of CORFAC International and is a former President of DMCAR, the largest commercial real estate association in the country with over 2000 members.
JR grew up in Chicago and permanently moved to Denver in 1999. JR and
his wife live in central Denver with their son. Outside of work, JR is
an avid runner and skier, cooks, travels, attempts to play golf and
chases his son around the house.
