John has been a corporate real estate advisor for over 30 years. Prior to the founding of Bitzer Real Estate Partners in 1995, John built an office leasing division into one of the region's top performing specialty groups, ultimately becoming their executive vice president/managing broker in charge of all specialty brokerage areas. In 2000 he was presented the nation's Largest Investment Dollar Volume Award by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). John's client roster reads like a Who's Who of successful businesses from the mega-corporation to the entrepreneur. It includes Johns Manville, Paine Webber, Citicorp, Ford Motor Credit, Gulf Oil Company, Compaq Computer, along with many of the region's most prestigious landlords and owners, namely Prudential, Lend Lease, and Brookfield Development.

He is known throughout the industry for his career-long clients, the high level of service he provides, his performance standards and his enthusiasm and pride in the real estate profession.

Outside of working in the real estate industry, John is enthusiastic about traveling and discovering new restaurants and wine with his bride, Dorrie. John also enjoys golf, home improvement projects and spending time with his dogs, Abby and Riley.
